Hi everyone. I have a 2012 31SB Zinger that is kept on a seasonal site. This weekend I turned the furnace on and when the blower came on I heard a noise that sounded like a flapper banging open and closed and then a smell similar to burning paper. Obviously I shut it down right away. I last used the furnace about 3 weeks ago and it worked fine. My question is how do you access the furnace unit which seems like it is located under the refrigerator with no way to remove the wood panel. Do I need to pull the fridge to see if a critter got into the blower?

there should be some screws on the panel or vent in front of the furnace .

The enclosure for the fridge and the furnacelooked like solid wood. Didn't have my glasses when I checked, guess I need to look again. Seems kind of strange that there wouldn't be access from the inside.

I saw the screws on the wood vent panel under fridge during PDI. Look along sides...

We now have a 32QB, but same setup.

I might be wrong, but I thought if the furnace was not accessible from the inside, there was an access door on the outside similar to the water heater door-just a little smaller.

Mine has a metal grill on the inside of the camper. It's the cold air return, and also the access to the furnace.

I did find the access, inside from under the fridge. The screws were difficult to see. Thanks for your replies and I'll post what was wrong as soon as I can figure it out!

I have a SunsetTrail 27 RB. The blower runs fine but never clicks to ignite and have one red flashing light. My book said sail switch or igniter. Looks like the furnace has to come out into camper. Is that correct? Is it expensive to get repaired?
