Furnace does nothing
3 months ago, took the camper in for a new roof. This past weekend we took the camper out, it got cold enough that we tried to turn the furnace on, it didn't work at all. I don't know if the 2 are related or not, just stating.
So I tried to get it the furnace to kick on (turned heat up to 85) and the furnace made no noise. No blower, nothing. Checked the AC, the fan works fine.
Propane worked, lit the stove top no issue (and the fridge worked fine on gas mode).
Visually checked all the fuses, none seem to be blown, and none of the red indicator lights are showing blown.
Unit had plenty of battery charge.
Any other ideas on what to check? Doing google searches as well, but curious to see if someone here had a similar issue.

Some have a fuse inside the thermostat. Someone else had a similar problem. Have to take the front cover off the thermostat where you turn on the furnace. Hope that helps.

Gives me another thing to research!
Also just saw a note about confirming the slider on the thermostat is making contact. Will check both at once.
Any other ideas? I have to drive over to storage so might have as many options to look into. I have NOT pulled the front panel to expose the furnace just to look.

The slide on the thermostat... So you must have an ANALOG thermostat...If that is the case take it off the wall and use a jumper wire on a couple of the contacts to see if you can get it to kick over...

Grab yourself a multimeter and start testing sections of the circuit. Agree with other posters to start with the thermo.

Don't know if this will help but several years ago on a camper far far away we had a mud dauber -wasp get in and built a nest and the blower would not run. Had to clean it out. My father was a propane service man for years and he took the furnace apart and cleared the nest. Something about a sail switch that is turned on by the blower air and unless it turns on the furnace will not light. Just something to check and if you don't have one you should get a screen for the vent. Hope this might help.
Happy Camping.

Hoping to get over and look on Sunday. Will report back. I know it is analog and when I sent my dad to see what digital options they had at the local shop, the shop says "you gotta stay analog".. so, now I gotta look into why that is. It never ends.

Furnace should run on 12v. You should check your fuses (not the breakers). I have swapped a few stats on my RV. It’s very easy if you have the right AC unit. Some like the dometecs have a multiplex wire that limits what you can put on. I have 2 Honeywell programmable stats in my basement that I put a nice coat of black paint on them to use in my RV. Then I decided I wanted the big screen Honeywell so I put those in (also with a coat of black paint). Have those sitting in my basement if you’re interested!!

Fan has to run first, or furnace cannot try to light, so mud dauber nest blocking blower fan from rotating is a possibility, but that should blow the fuse for the furnace. So start w/ 12vdc power to the unit? and yes, after fuse, it goes to HEAT/ COOL switch on thermostat

So, you are the winner apparently. I had two issues. 1 was a short in the thermostat, apparently only on the heater side which is why the AC would kick on but nothing on the heat side. That was replaced and then apparently the sail switch was also bad. Took a month to get the darn thing in for the appointment which is why it took so long for me to reply. They replaced the thermo for free so I didn't get into the upgrade debate.
