Furrion radio awning light issue???

So I figured out today that if I have my furrion dv3100 on and Bluetooth connected all works great. When I turn on the awning light it immediately stops working. This include radio and / or DVD. I have to hold down power for 5 seconds and reboot it with the awning light off. It will not work with the awning light on period. It sounds like the led light is backfeeding interference to the headunit. Has anyone experienced this? Possibly a diode or an MOV across the D.C. power of the headunit would resolve this. I just took delivery and will bring it up with the dealer but I am trying to use our sound while camping and if it is easy I will just fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
