I am considering updating to a garmin 7200 GPS...does anyone own and use one..if so good and bad points.....I want to also get the ext anntenna for weather broadcast etc... would like to hear your opinion of its good and bad points....appreciate any information

what are you updating from

we have a garmin 250w and just love it

we use the laptop for any weather reports and also all our e mails

we have the 250w as well..the 7200 is supposedly for trucks and rv's with 7in screen...can set like 50 waypoints, get xm radio and weather and traffic etc....we also have a laptop setup in our truck...just a little too big...plus we want weather on the go ...

Just get a little radio with the WB band &amp; you can get the National Weather Service. We have one it works great &amp; it's setup to locate the local stations that carry the weather, from I think it's called NOAH or something like that.
