Gas Grills

Age old question.
Does anybody make a portable gas grill that doesn't have a painted porcelain grill top? I just returned a little Coleman grill because that is what was on the grill top and it burned and blistered like paint and came off on the food. Not good, gag, gag.

Somebody must make something decent that's not huge, with either a cast iron top or stainless steel.

I have the Coleman road trip going on 7 years and had no problems. They are cast iron grills. Have not looked at the new ones. I like it cause it lays flatter than most for storage

I have a single burner stainless BBQ with stainless grill. Works great for up to 4 people and so far has lasted 4 years. Uses the small propane bottles. Got it a Home Depot. The new ones have two burners which is probably better.

I saw those. They look like very high quality and not too expensive. Who makes them?

Yes, my Roadtrip is 6-7 yrs old and has the porcelainized cast iron grills.
I let them soak a day to easily remove the left over grillings and avoid breaking the porcelain.
Anytime I'm traveling, I remove the grills and keep them, the fuel regulator/gas line, brushes, etc in a tote for ease of moving the grill and/or lifting.

Wow! Is it stainless or solid silver, kinda pricey. I've got the Weber also & it's all cast grill & solid cast aluminum shell & cheaper than that one.

Lloyd...very similar. Mine has a side knob for the burner and goes onto the LP tank. The one you linked has two knobs and what looks like a hose for the LP tank. Actually looks better than mine since it has two burners - i like that option.

We use this in our sunset trail, it's a great grill. Bought it when we still had the jayco. The only bad thing is I have to sit it on a table. $99 when I bought it. Then $35 for a hose off of ebay to hook up to the qd from the trailer
Member's Mark Portable Stainless Steel Gas Grill - Sam's Club

Bought this table for $35 at the time to sit the grill on.
Lifetime Tailgate Table - Sam's Club

Unfortunately it shows both of these items as out of stock online although you might find them at your local store, I don't know.
