To chime in:

On my original trailer we didn't have much in the way of electronics. We picked up a Champion 3500W from Tractor Supply for 279. It was loud but with dry camping at Assateague Island in August it ran the AC. i made sure to unplug the TV. We simply used it to charge the battery and run the 15k AC unit. Couldn't justify the cost. The hondas while quiet in most places do not seem to fall into a separate generator category. Another thing to think about is that you can quiet the generator down for your neighbors by putting it in the back of your truck and putting the tailgate up. While it won't make much difference for you int he trailer it will make it nicer for those at ground level further out as the bed will deflect the sound upward.

I did make it a priority to get an onboard onan generator for the new Elevation I got though.

Thank you. Cant really afford the honda's right now. I could deal with a little noise for my own comfort, but don't want to put anybody else out. Would the Genturi make a cheaper generator any quieter?
