Generator use

Quick question,

will my generator charge my battery enough so that I can use my lights and A/C a night?

Sorry, I'm a rookie camper

Lights: Yes.

AC: No.

The air conditioner requires 110 power, so you'll either need shore power or you'll have to run the generator.

You will need at least a 2800-3000 generator to start a 13,500 btu AC and a 3300-3500 to start a 15,000 btu AC without burning it out IMO.

You can run your lights off the battery, but not the A/C. As dedmiston stated, the A/C needs 120 volts. You may be able to run the A/C while the generator is running if it is big enough.
