How can we get the remote to work from the bedroom, we have a 26RB and the remote for the dvd does not work from the bed. Any suggestions?

Not being familiar with the trailer the remote is probably infrared meaning if the DVD player can't see the remote it won't work. Line of sight only. An RF remote will work thru walls.

X2 - they don't work perfect but likely more reliable in the confines of a trailer. I found they didn't work so well in a house.
