Anyone ever have grasshoppers build nest in the clip channel of your awning? Let me tell you, the surprise of that was not a pleasant one. The only way to get them out was to dig them out with a pocket knife. The smell was horrid. This has happened to me twice. I guess I will plug the exposed ends with aluminum foil this time after I roll it up. Anyone have any better solutions??

Probably wasn't grasshoppers but wasps, the grasshopper is food for their young.

Nope. Grasshoppers. Packed it full of grass and had too many baby ones to count. Live ones.
