Pulled my 220RB a thousand miles to Texas and have been in it about a week. Noticed that the sensors for the gray and black water never show past "empty", although they have worked before. I knew the gray was full this morning when my tub started filling up while I was taking a shower. Wondering if anyone has had that happen and if I should look at something while camping or just wait until I get home. Just a minor inconvenience right now. I figure a connector or something might be loose somewhere. Battery indicator shows full, just the black/gray not registering. Very pleased overall with this unit though.

sensors are notorious for not working. Typically they show full not empty, also interesting both are showing empty. when they consistently read the other way, a good flush with a wand and using the geo method can help. I'm not sure this is the same issue. geo methodEdited by: anaro

If you're connected to shore power, the battery will always show "FULL",because it is reading the converter and battery.

I had the same problem. It ended up being a loose connection. Mine was fixed under warranty.

Loose connection is what I'm thinking too, but I hate to pull it to the dealer for that. But with the under covers it is hard to get to.

One place to look is behind the sensor display unit. I had a faulty reading once and when I pulled the unit off the wall to examine it I found nothing visually wrong but it worked after I put it back. never did find the loose connection (I assume that was the problem) but has worked fine every since.

Grey worked fine, black was always showing different levelsafter being emptied and flushed, found out the sensor was bad. Of course there is a chance TP might be blocking the sensor, maybe try a good flush.

I have the same problem. My fresh water shows full when "full". My black and grey never moved off empty. I had to fill my fresh water tank again when it started pumping air. Thought it was odd that neither black or grey had not moved. We got up and decided we would head home. I checked the shower and good thing because it was an inch from spilling over! Had to bail before we could move. At the dump station the black drained quick but was obvious the grey was at capacity.

Back home from my 3 week camping trip. I did pull the control panel but saw nothing wrong. Alas, it still did not work when I put it back. I finally emptied the black water tank after about 14 days (just me). Reckon I will call the dealer tomorrow and arrange to have it looked at. As I said, I really hate to take it in for just that, but I would like for it to work. It did work initially. If it wasn't so much trouble I would drop the bottom covers and have a look myself for a loose connection, but I guess it is possible the control panel itself has a problem. Really happy overall (so far) with this camper.

Update: Talked to the dealer today about the sensors not working, and I'll be taking it in Saturday. He said it shouldn't take long to find and fix... either a broken wire, or possibly the display panel itself. Also asked about an awning for the slide, but I'll have to look through a catalog to decide which one I want, color, etc. Estimated cost about $400 or so. I'll probably get that done while he has it.

Speaking of awnings for the slide, any recommendations on a particular brand? Or any to stay away from?

Let us know. My grey water indicator is obviously not working and I am interested in a slide awning as well.

Interestingly enough, my grey also doesn't work, but the black does.
They all worked fine.
Took it on a road trip when I brought it out of storage this year. It was fine at the beginning. Midway through it stopped.
Been 2 months now and same thing.
Going to get in behind the panel and down underneath and look at the wiring.

Took the camper to the dealer last Saturday. In spite of them saying they were about 3 weeks behind (lots of hail damage work), I got a call today that it was ready. Turns out it was a loose ground at the tanks. Easy fix.
On the awning over the slide, I have decided to hold off on that. Not only is it more than I expected, at around $600 for the least expensive one, I have also been reading a lot about water pooling on the top. Since the slide on this thing extends out about 41 inches and is very long, I don't want to be having to slide it in and out if it is raining steadily to keep the water off. Not sure what I plan to do ultimately about a slide awning. I would like to have one, but it probably won't be anytime soon.

As others have noted, the black water sensor needs good cleaning to show empty, however, your issue isn't the same. You have 4 sensors along each edge of the tank, each creating additional resistance when covered with liquid and registering to the panel. Solids in the black tank need extra cleaning to allow these to register properly.
I can't imagine the bottomunitsworking in each tank but all 6 of the others not. I would check the control panel again for open wiring going into the unit.

Correct... the problem in my case is that there was a loose ground that affected both tanks. Supposedly all repaired now and I will get the camper Friday after work. The camper is relative new (since January) and I do make an extra effort to flush the black water tank as completely as I can to try to avoid future issues with solid build up.
