I was doing some research on tank treatment products when I ran across a product called Happy Camperhttp://www.5starhappycamper.com. I figured it wouldn't work as good as stated, but I was surprised by the results.

I used it for the first time last weekend. I waited about 4 to 5 days before I dumped the tank so things could "brew". When I drained the tank last night the water came out almost a chalky white to clear color and no odor, TP or brown water came out at all. I even stuck my nose down there and took a big old sniff and smelled nothing. I was shocked. It even states on their web site you can use regular household TP.

I have been using the GEO method and would always get the regular odor when dumping and of coarse the brown water. I found the product on Amazon with free shipping which made it the cheapest place to get it.

Anyone else have experience using this product?

This stuff like oxekleen ?
OR
http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/r...-treatment.htm

Made from the same ingredients?, Oxekleen/oxekem and HC ?

I just put in 5 gallons of water, A cup of bleach and a cup of cloths washing machine soap in each tank. Only when i am about to travel.. (right now, Getting ready for a big trip, The tanks are set) The swishy washy concoction seem to clean off my sensors(most of the time) I don't loose sleep if my sensors don't work. Gave up with caring about that years ago. Don't really have a smell issue and i have always used regular TP. I am just cautious flushing $ down the toilet unnecessarily.

I use liquid dish washer soap in my tanks. Already has the bleach and less suds. As for the sensors when I am boon docking my theory is I have more Black tank capacity than fresh water capacity. So with what goes in the gray tanks I should not be able to fill the black tank unless you have a lot of bear drinking friends using your facilities.
