Can anyone tell which way the valves go for summer time use. I believe the cold water is parallel to the cold line and the hot is cross ways. It would save me from hooking up the water and trial and error. Grandson was playing plumber. Thanks

Here is what my water heater looks like and is working fine (picture #1 link). Does anyone know what the line coming out of the water pump that is just laying loose in the water heater/pump compartment? The valve is closed otherwise it would pump water in to the camper if it wasn't. Anyone know what it would be used for? (Picture #2 link).

Can't see it real good. Could it be the suction line for anti freeze when you winterize?

I agree. If it is a loose line with valve, it is your winterizing line to suck anti-freeze into the potable water system. If you open the valve it should suck air not blow water.
