Help me fix this mistake please!

Can Dicor self levelling lap sealant be removed?

Um, I used a small amount on a vertical surface. Not a good decision......

I do have to say, it looked good going on!

I suppose it would come off there the same way as if you were replacing the roof vent.
Putty knife (preferably plastic) And, if it ran all over the side, you will have to break out the paint thinner, and if that doesn't take the smears , you might have to resort to lacquer thinner.

Maybe some heat from a heat gun or hair dryer might help.

Try WD40 it is more of a cleaner than a lubricant. Ill bet that gets it.
