The rod connecting to the black tank dump valve just came off. I'm not sure how it connects to the valve, there is a small hole through the end of the rod. I'm notsure whether to drop the membrane to get at the valve or just cut a hole init to get to the valve. The cut would be the easiest. Any suggestions as to how to repair the membrane if I decide to cut it, probably some type of tape would work just not sure what to use.

Problem fixed. I cut the menbrane and repaired it with black gorilla tape that a fellow camper used. It appeared that the pin was never inserted in the coupling that connects the rod to the valve handle. The coupling was a tight fit on the rod, had to be hammered on, and there was no indication of a pin being in the hole and I didn't find any laying on the insulation.

Quick work. Glad that it was an easy fix. Gorilla tape works well on the membrane. I used it on several places on our 29RK and it always stayed in place.

Gorilla tap is similar to duct tape only heavy duty. It's good for exterior use.
