Hole in the wall....

Our 2 month old camper has it's first blemish.... got a quarter size hole on the interior wall. One of the sliding doors came loose on a rough road and hit against the wall, creating a hole in the wall when it hit against the bungee cord thing.

What's the best/correct way to fix this?

It's a tough fix. Is there a place in the closet where you can peel of a small patch? Or place a small wall decal on it after you fill it with exterior drywall paste.

I might try something like this:

Amazon.com : 10PCS WALL PROTECTORS SELF ADHESIVE DOOR HANDLE BUMPER GUARD STOPPER RUBBER STOP : Office Products

Needs to be skinny since sliding door needs to shut and but up against the wall.

They should work but you'll still have to fill the hole with something.
