Hot water tank

Hopefully someone out there can help,I just set up the trailer,flushed the water system,bled the air,filled the hot water tank,but when run the hot water through the taps it starts out hot and is cold in about ten seconds,when I touch the tank it's hot,any ideas would be appreciated... Thanks.

Sounds like it's possible you don't have all the valves in the correct position.

Thanks Lloyd,You were correct,had that valve turned the wrong way,its our first time bringing it out after a winter,I appreciate your help,have a great summer..

I just did that this weekend also! My problem was not knowing where the heck my by pass valve was. I have a 2016 ST 270BH. I found it, after removing 6 screw in the nightstand next to the bed. smh... WHY would they make this so unaccessible?

I ended up just screwing 1 screw back in. That thing is heavy enough that I doubt it will go anywhere?

The things us newbies learn!

Yeah, I'm thinking about a hinge maybe...

I'm thinking of trying heavy duty Velcro instead of the screws,my is also beside the bed and difficult to access.. learn as we go,enjoy your summer

I put a drawer handle on the very right side under the bed overhang and no screws back in. Just lift the handle and the front of the cover comes up enough to get your hands on the cover and it is easily off. Does not move at all when travelling.
