Okie dokie. We just purchased a Zinger Trailer. Its ok. But the do the indicator lights for H2O go out or remain on when it is running on electric or gas? My light remained on for electric and it appeared that everything was ok.

In our cruiser the light means that it was unsuccessful at lighting after 3 attempts. The light is only supposed to inform you of an issue.

I have a Zinger and yes the light remains on. The switch lights up based on whatever heating method you are using.

I have two switches in the control cabinet, one for electric and one for gas operation. I believe which ever method I select that switch stays lit to let you know the water heater is on.

Once the h20 heater switch is turned on, the light will remain on. (you should have one for gas and one for electric). I usually only operate one or the other but will use both if I want to heat it up quickly.

As others have said the SWITCH light stays on when the water heater is on. If there is a fault in the DSI system, there is another smaller light NEXT to the switch that will light. It is marked as DSI fault.

Sounds like we are discussing more than one TYPE of switch. Because my singe light comes on if the gas does not light.

Looks like CR has a couple of different varieties out there. On my I have 1 switch for elec on the left a light in the middle and a switch for gas on the right. Light only illuminates when gas fails to ignite after 3 attempts.
