looking for some suggestions for reasonable insurance for the Cruiser. Have the tv insured with a company that doesn't cover rvs. Would like to insure the 5er only. Got any ideas?

I went with GEICO even though they do not insure my vehicles. GEICO has a separate RV department and the people know their stuff. Their rates are resonable as well.

We have our tv insured by other Co. also.
5er is insured with Progressive. I went online and looked their policy over. My last premium was $268.00 for the year.

Probably time to find a new auto insurer if they can't offer assistance with your 5er. YES, I'm serious!

OK, Progressive and Foremost are known markets for 5ers. Good Sam Club has a good program. But if your current insurer can not offer coverage for your 5er it is time to look elsewhere.

Keep in mind there is no financial incentive to an agent to insure a travel trailer or 5er. It actually costs them money to service the account (commission is less than the cost of the service provided). Better to offer the entire enchilada as it were.

Al, I'm sitting here rolling and laughing my butt off. I see you like Mr. Bean. Perhaps he sells insurance also. How and where did you get that. That is great. Randy

Hi Randy,

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying "Mr Bean". I'm sure others find it annoying but I like it. Really don't know where I found it, but latched on as soon as stumbled upon it.
