Issues with Genesis 2.0

As I mentioned in another thread, the Genesis unit DVD/CD player failed last week while camping. My local dealer (Called on Monda) was supposed to check to see if it was under warranty and let me know that same day. That didn't happen. Also contacted concertone support via their web site and they suggested removing power for at least 3 minutes to see if it would reset. Of course I had already done that. Then they replied and said the unit has likely malfunctioned (Duh) and to contact my dealer. I have had this unit since January of last year, so technically it is out of warranty by less than 4 weeks, but still out of warranty. I have just sent an email to CR explaining the situation, but from some comments on hear about email support, I'm not optimistic about a response. Just can't really justify spending money on a new stereo system for the CR right now. I have another week long trip coming up the end of April, so hopefully I will have something by then. Grrr.
