Any suggestions on getting extra keys for the door locks. We have a CL32BL '07 model. The wife got locked out this past weekend. I had left early and locked the door from the outside when she when out she saw the lever inside was unlocked so she thought nothing about closing the door to take the dogs out. YES she was locked out when she came back. Need to get and extra key and hide it somewhere. Thanks

I think you have to get the blank from a RV dealer and than anyone can cut them.

We ordered ours from the dealer. $14 each. Got locked out a couple of times too. If you lock the bottom lock instead of the top one you have to unlock it from the inside before you can get out.The toplock will let you out but must be unlocked withthe key.

I just had one made yesterday at the local lock shop. They had the blanks and it only cost $2.75. Over $14.00 from a dealer?? And they wonder why we avoid them.

We have had 5 sets made at our local TruValue hardware store. The only area place that carries a variety of key bases.

This is definitely a 'Good to Know' item. Need to add this to the 'to do' list for our Cruiser 27RLX we're picking up on Friday.

Thanks!!

We had several sets made at the local locksmith. Any locksmith should have the blanks in stock.

This is why Ford offers the keyless entry on their trucks. I keep the spare set in the truck in case of such issue.

Just a heads up from a newbie to fifth wheel campers. My wife has discovered that the key to our Gulfstream will fit our Cruiser. It would also fit her neighbors Airstream when she waslocked out. Thank goodness that most of us are honest and upstanding citizens. I have met the nicest people camping. So, next time you are locked out, ask your neighbor for help. Chances are their key will fit your lock.
