We have Shurflo water filter, the replacementCartridge RV-10C1-A, and I do not have a clue what the O-ring part number is. My question, can I get the replacement parts some where besides a RV place ?

Here is a place that shows to carry them online. They can probably sell you the right O ring as well.

Hunter11, thanks for the info I don't see the O ring on the site but if I call them I am sure they have it. At the rv place in Mo. they want $8.00 fot the"0" ring may not be that bad but seems high to me.

I pulled the filterout ofthe cartridge on our trailer because we filter the water before it gets to the trailer but we have a whole house filter at the house and I only change the O ring once every couple of years. When I change the filter I take the O ring and put a little Vaseline on it before I put the housing back on and have never had a problem with it leaking.

Send a message via Yahoo to Jersey Guy
Dont use Vaseline on O rings, its petroleum based and will break down rubber O rings.

Hunter11, we also use filtering in the house, the only time I will use the filter is if we are actively camping as I believe the filter setting in water can develop something that couldcause issues. I called the engineer at Shurflo and he said if we would run a gal. through the filter every four weeks are so that would keep things save.
