Kitchen faucet runs non-stop when off and pump is on

We have a 2018 Sunset Trail 271RL camper. When we turn on the pump, the kitchen faucet which is turned off runs a stream of water non-stop until we turn off pump. We pulled the sprayer head apart and the water still runs. I am not sure where to start and how to get the faucet apart. HELP......

I would think the problem would be in the hot or cold shut off handle. Probably not in the faucet.

You need to determine which of the faucet handles is defective. (turn off the supply valves under the sink one at a time. Once you have figured out if it is the hot or cold valve, remove the handle and then remove the bad stem valve. Usually the handle will have a set screw or a screw at the top to remove it, the stem valve will normally have a large nut holding it in. Good luck.

Question - Are you saying the faucet will not shut off with the "button" on the sprayer head on not shut off all together? If the handles will not shut off remove them as stated. If its the " sprayer button" you can take it apart and rebuild or replace it.

I know it’s a bad suggestion ——Warranty item ? OK, but seriously, the above is your answer (one of the handles) cold or hot? That’ll tell you. What I did when it started leaking at the base of the faucet. Pulled it and put a METAL faucet from Kohler in there. LIFETIME WARRANTY and no more problems. Did the same thing in the bathroom.

x2, the issue of leaks start at the shutoff. Warranty item yes, but you can fix it in your driveway in a 1/2 hour and a trip to the RV store for a washer...unless these have some kind of crazy proprietary cartridge. If anyone has taken this apart one of these plastic faucets before please post.

I have encountered issues with RV faucets before, and most of them don't have parts available for them, or they are made so cheap, you really don't want to fix them anyway.
Do yourself a favor, and buy a commercial grade faucet from a home improvement store.
