We are on the road now and today the LP dedector is making a beeping noise and the light has turned Yellow/orange, it was green before, Can anyone tell us what to do with it, do we have to buy a new one. Does this mean we are loosing LPGas. Please I hope someone knows what to do Afraid to go any further,in case it is very important, Thanks

Turn off all gas fired appliances, go out and turn off LP tanks, open windows and door for a few min's. Call nearest service center to com out (or go to) and have them do a check of the propane gas system. If you turn off the tanks you will not be losing any propane and danger will be minamal.

If it is just a short beep every minute or so, then it is a fault and not a leak -- a detected LP leakwould be a blaring signal.

Mine faults about 3 times per year. Hold the button down for about 10 seconds, until the light turns green again, to reset the fault.

Guess the battery in the camper is full charge? Mine use to do this when dry camping and running the heater on very cold nights.

Thank you, held down the button and yes it reset itself, I guess we were not holding it long enough. I replaced the batteries when I changed the converter. Now I can beathe again and go on with my journey south.
