large slide out not working

I have a 07 Cruiser CF29RE the large slide is not working, pushing the out button to the slide only results in a clicking sound, this has happened before, to fix it I would loosen the jam nut of the stop can and simply turn it just a bit, that no longer works, battery voltage is at 13.27, no fuses are blown at panel, any idea as a fix to this issue?

I had the same issue a couple weeks ago. I used the crank handle to open the slide about an inch. Then went inside, pushed the out switch and it has worked every time since. This has happened to me several times over the past few years.

Sounds like the same thing that happened to my central vac at home ...had to turn motor a bit and it worked ....turned out the brushes were gone in the motor. Not sure if the 12 v motors are the same , but worth a look . As brushes are cheap . If not , maybe just a new motor...?

Thanks Camp MacKay, followed your advice, turned the crank handle about 2-3 turns, hit the out button and it worked, made a adjustment on the stopcan, not sure but the slide may have been pulled in too far, ran the slide thru several in/outs seems to be working fine, if it happens again I know what to do, thanks again for the advice
