Leaking Slideout

I have discovered a leak in my large slideout. I am out of my two year warranty. I would like to know what has been the experience of other CR owners with this leaking issue. Would slideout awnings be a solution? The slideout is tight against the RV and the rubber seals have been properly maintained with treatment twice per year.

Do you know where it's coming in? Sides, top, bottom?

Had a keystone outback with the single slide. Water poured in down the center of the wall. I could never detect where the water was coming in but finally ordered a roll of the white dicor tape. I cleaned the roof next to where the rubber roof went under the edge of the trim. I took the tape lapped it over the joint between the rubber roof and and metal trim and up the side if the metal trim that seals against the trailer side. Sealed the edges of the tape with the dicor caulk and the leak was gone. That was my fix.

It is leaking on the top middle as far as I can tell. Dripping to the metallic pan under the carpet.

Thanks for the input. This is a viable option.

Do you have a slide topper over it?

No, slideout awnings will not fix a leak...
and unfortunately water can travel a LONG ways, even uphill wicking from the source

I used this tape where I had some damage.

Wash down slideout top, let it dry, clean with acetone, and apply the tape...
