Leveling the TT

In the past I just used 1 x and 2 X 6 boards to level my hybrid. Now that I have this newCR with the secure stance wheel setup, I thought I would upgrade myleveling system to the plastic Lego type.

My question is, do most of you jack up both wheels on the low side or just one wheel?

And what is your preferred devises to do the leveling.

When I pull into a site I check the side to side level and if space allows I place the pads behind the wheels and just back onto them. Once you level a couple of times you will learn how high to stack the leveling blocks. I carry two bags of the plastic leveling pads and about a dozen 6 X 6 pieces of 1/4 inch plyboard and always place the pads under both wheels. Hope this helps.

We bought a large Camco level from WalMart and mounted it to the front of the trailer where it can be seen in the rear view mirror. As you pull into a site a quick glance will tell you which side needs blocks and how many as each mark represents about 1".We use the Lynx plastic blocks and 1/2" plywoodwhen needed and always block both wheels. I prefer to pull forward onto the blocks, but it works either way. Also make sure to chock the opposite wheels front and back before unhitching.

We always level with both wheels. Better weight distribution on the wheels/tires and suspension. Always use boards - tend to sink less into the ground (dry or wet).
