LP gas detector

Anyone familiar with the wiring for the LP gas detector? A friends is not getting power to the detector. Manual says it should be protected with a one amp fuse. All of the fuses in the panel are ok however they are all 15-20 amp. We're not sure if it is wired to one of those circuits. I'm wondering if it is wired direct with an inline fuse. We pulled the wires out of the wall as far as possible and found no fuse. The unit is in a MH.

Look in the battery compartment for a 1amp fuse. A lot are wired with an inline fuse and if it's not behind the unit, it must be near the battery.

My old trailer had a 3 amp fuse behind the detector. had to take out the bottom drawer to access it. Try unscrewing the detector from the wall and there will probably be a fuse there..

We did remove the detector, no fuse. It's been raining all day so we haven't been able to check for connections at the battery.
