Has anyone used the MagicJak for communication in their travels? It sounds too good to be trueor.

I have not used the magicjack I have used skype. If the campground has cable Internet and not satellite you should be OK. As far as the quality my niece has it to call her mother and she said it sounds like you are in a can. But you can not beat the deal.

It works well with a speedy Internet connection. I bought one to use on a cruise but first used it on my home computer. I was impressed with the quality and connection. Got onto the ship and it would not work. The cruise line blocks those type of connections.

I am also a Winnipegger that is thinking about purchasing a Zinger 5th wheel. Any experience with them?

I replied to your question about your Zinger on your rubber roof.

I have had magicJack for years.. Love it. I got rid of my house phone. Works great for keeping minutes away from my cell phones.. I have Cable internet.. I don't think it will work on dial up, but not sure.. Just plug in Magic jack into your USP connection on your computer. It will plug/play. My computer stays on all the time anyways so it works for me. Plug in a wireless phone base into the magic jack usp connector and Whala. An Instant wireless house phone. We call Buffalo to florida all the time.. And my inlaws(have a DSL connection) have it also. They call florida to buffalo. No problems. Works just like a house phone should.
