Manuals for Equipment

I am having a slight problem with determining how things work. One of the problems deals with the ceiling speakers. I am sure there is an easy explanation or way to get things to work but this one has me stumped. Seeing as we purchased the unit used and there were no manuals I sent an email to the home office and received the basic guide on here is your 5th wheel. Unfortunately there is nothing that talks about speakers or if your camper is sitting for many months how, where or should you jack the tires off of the ground to keep from flat spotting them. Does any one have a solution for these concerns? It appears that the second e-mail fell on deaf ears.

Without telling us what model you have, I can only guess. If your speakers come from a mounted radio that looks like it is a car radio, then work the controls until you have the opportunity to control the fader. Front to rear. On my Z-1 one way is inside speakers, the other way is outside. Leave balance where it should be, i.e. in the middle between left and right.
Given the heat of AZ, I would also worry about sitting too long. Perhaps, if you can't move it, you could jack up a wheel at a time every couple of months, and rotate it by hand to another spot. Perhaps use chalk marks?

Give us the brands you need manuals for and what model and year rv you have, and maybe we can help you out. My rv sits for months at a time and I never got a flat spot.

Additional Info

We have the 2013 Rushmore Washington RF39. Reading my post I also forgot to ask what options does one have when the A/C doe s not do the job? Living in AZ is tough during the summer and the main unit does not handle the heat alone. We installed a second A/C unit, 15K in the Master bedroom but the 2 just don't keep it any where comfortable. Can the main unit be replaced with a bigger unit?, Can you put in a 3rd unit? or find some shade.

We leave 2(two) vintage cars in Mesa (AJ side) for years & years March thru Nov.
The '73 is very large & heavy; we lift them till tires are just off concrete 1/32". All weight Has to rest thru balljoints & Leaf spring shackals. SO; a TT would be under Axels at shackals. Tires MUST be covered / sunshaded & ozone protected(treated.)

Most of your manuals are out there on the internet... just do a search for your mfg and model and you can typically download them.
Not so much for your rv, their manuals are usually pretty generic and not much help

Good luck !

As far as manuals, you can do an online search. Enter the model number of the appliance you are looking for and you can almost always find a link to a manual.

One of the problems with most of the manuals is that they are no help when you are trying to figure out items like the speakers in the ceiling and how they work.

The manuals seem to be generic, not geared to any particular model. They have been no use whatsoever.

I may be wrong(or at least confused) You want to know about just the speakers them selves or what feeds them? You'll find a manual for the stereo system, (Usually a Jensen unit), but the speakers are usually generic, controlled into 3/2 speaker zones run to the stereo.

I posted a link for the Lippert master guide a while back. If your trailer is mostly Lippert, this is the same manual the RV dealers use for reference to do repairs. The former service managers at Crossroads (Randy) gave me a hardcopy. It goes into painstaking detail on everything LCI on the trailer.

Do you have a Jenson or Genesis stereo?

I asked the question because I have the pdf of the Genesis manual. I can post it in the documents section if someone is looking for it.
