When sitting down at your bar-b-que, on Monday, please remember why we are celebrating Memorial Day.

This is the day we honor those who have kept this beautiful country of ours "theland of the free", because many of the brave have not come home.

Take a moment to remember those who have / are serving, also.

According to the United States flag code, the National Ensign should be flown at half staff until noon on Memorial day.

I will be flying my flags (US and Navy) the whole weekend in Nashville TN. Thanks to all who have served and welcome those for their current service.

Same here, only with a Coast Guard flag flying proudly. Thanks for words to remember Walt.

Now that the calender shows the official holiday ... Â*Happy Memorial Day!

Most of us are busy goofing off, working, doing work around our homes and just leading normal lives. Â*I'm not a veteran but I'll take a moment today to think about all those who served our country. Â*I salute our veterans for a job well done.

This year we also have an opportunity to join together as one America to remember.
