Motion reduction

What does the community suggest to help reduce motion for travel trailer dual slides? I have had someone suggest slide out supports but be sure to just make them snug, they said they saw instant results.

I installed these.
RV Stabilizer: 941-416-0918 10-107 days a week plugitright@gmail.com

There are other brands available also. It literally stopped all movement.

In the past slide out supports were not recommended. Myself, I don't use or need them. Plus I would be very leery of using them. Mainly because if your rig settles for any reason (mainly a flat tire) it could put a lot of pressure on the slide out and the mechanism.

spare car jacks from a pick and pull located mid point on the left and right sides of the frame. this takes SOME weight off the springs and makes the whole rig less bouncy. also some hand made cross chaulks

Yes, I didn't think about those. They will help also.

slide support

Most manufacturers void slide warranties if you use supports. Let's say your stabilizer jacks lower a little from settling or something else happens. Your slide will remain in the air while your camper adjusts. This can bend and ruin the slides and throw the whole thing out of whack. The biggest movement issues can be resolved by using xchocks.

I bought the Eaz-Lift 48860 Telescopic Jack,
(Pack of 2). They easy to use and work great.
I place one under the I frame on each side,
just place one in front of tires on one side &
one behind the tires on the other side.

The hitch tripod and the chocks did little for my redwood 35gk's 'dancing'.
But I did get a boat jack from Northern tools and put it under the rear trailer hitch. I didn't LIFT the rear with it, just put enough pressure to help.
That stopped a lot of our movement since there was a LOT of overhang behind the rear wheels and leveling jacks.
IMHO, it even helped in the front bedroom, maybe because it lessened the 'pivoting' over the axles ?
