Anyone within our forum have any information or suggestions regarding either a front truck bumper or rear 5er carrier for my 180lb Honda 90?

I understand the rear bumper on our Cruiser is not strong enough but a carrier could be mounted to the frame.

Any personal experiences regarding this issue would be appreciated.

If your trailer is less than 2 years old don't mount it on the frame our you will loose your frame warranty. I was told by Lippert if I drilled 4 holes in our frame to mount a reciever hitch for a bike rack and two bikes I would void our warranty. If it is older than 2 years than you might be fine with it. I know I personally would not put that much weight back there but there are many people doing it, some even more weight than that. Is the bike and carrier 180 lbs or just the bike?

I added a hitch to front of my truck to haul my KTM 530 EXC and wife's bike carrier in front of that with 3 bikes. Looked a little weird but worked well.

Pictures here on forum somewhere.

i also made a front hitch dirt bike carrier. mine fits two. i made mine w/ steel so it is heavy. there are plenty of aluminum racks for sale on line. just google motorcycle carrier. i never figured out how to post pictures but if you want i'll e-mail them to you. i carry my suzuki dr 350 and my sons honda xr 70 or his suzuki jr 50. works great. also the receiver on the fords front hitch sits a little high, so i also made a drop receiver so the bike does'nt block my view.
