My fridge is freezing

My Dometic RM2652 (2007) is freezing my food. I've moved the slider to the bottom. I've heard talk of a thermistor but fail to see one in my fridge or where it might attach to my fridge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Search the forum here - you might find some threads on the subject. There is a search function at the top of the page. I hope this helps.

The slider is the thermistor.
That is a sensor with wires attached to it, and they unplug on the other end. Very simple swap.

Yep. Had the thermistor fail in our Norcod, froze the eggs and just about every thing in it.

Aside from a defective thermistor, I've always had trouble with the rv fridges freezing up on the higher settings (eggs, yogurt, milk), especially when camping in hotter climates than Ohio.

Improved airflow around the food always works for me.

You can buy a fridge fan that runs on D batteries for under 20 bucks. I have two. The batteries last a really long time for us using a good name brand alkaline.

Here's a link for a couple on Amazon. I have the $15 Camco and it works fine.
Valterra A10-2606 FridgeCool 11.28 mA Fan with On/Off Switch

Camco 44123 Fridge Airator

I have the Valterra and it does help. Everything stays real cold. The air needs to circulate in order to function at its best.

Thanks so much! I've got the freezing under control now now I can work on the air flow. Great tip!
