Just curious if anyone out there has delt with Nanco tires before. Thinking of replacing my tires that are about 5 years old now and changing them out with four new Nanco tires. I was also advised to replace with Radial tires intead of Bias ply due to the fact that they hold up better. Any thoughts?

Thank you for any thoughts you folks may have.

I don't know anything about the Nanco tires but I can tell you the radials are better than the bias ply. I had bias ply's on my paradise point when I bought it, after replacing them with LT radials the wear and the ride is so much better.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but before we bought our cruiser, we had a 24' Zeppelin travel trailer with Nanco tires. With less than 1000 miles on the trailer, 2 of the tires had blown out at the sidewalls. The 2 remaining tires showed signs of cracking in the sidewalls. I complained to Nanco and they shipped me 5 new tires. I had to pay for mounting and balancing as well as the GST tax because I live in Canada.

I can't say if the new tires were any better, I traded the trailer in soon after I had them installed. If you Google Nanco tires, you will likely find some posts by people who had similar problems.

Never dealt with Nanco and probably never will as by personal choice I only stick with the big tire companies (Firestone, Michelin, Dunlop and Goodyear). Also go with a radial, bias tires are old school for trailers.

I just put on a set of "E-rated" Carlisle tires on the Cruiser before the 1500 mile trip to minnesota. Discount Tire are some great people to work with...at least at my store. So far the tires have held up great, even with an emergency lock up due to some moron cutting in front of me in a lane shift area then realizing the traffic ahead had slowed and slammed on his brakes. Lucky the new superduty has an excellent braking and the intergrated system sensed the lockup and modulated the trailer brakes so I could still control almost 20K of truck and trailer. Based upon the vehicle and driving behavior it almost felt like one of those possible insurance scams.
