I haven't counted the nights we were out camping. We did get away for several long weekends and two 2 week periods at the lake. This summer was so hot we didn't get to camp as much as we would have liked. No use camping when you have to stay inside or sit under the awning. Also, our A/C when run on HIGH leaks water inside the trailer. We had a pail on the floor the last time out. The dealer we bought it from went out of business a few months after we bought our Zinger.

Rancar you just need to tighten up your air so your seal is tighter. If you take off your inside panel you will see 4 bolts holding your a/c on the roof. tighten these.

We are RVing every summer since 2002 for 4-5 months each time to different states/provinces, than store the rig till the next spring.
This year we started in June from Toronto area, drove North and explored Bruce Peninsula then continued to Pennsylvania,Maryland and Virginia.
Stored the rig 2 days ago, till the next spring.

Thanks for that information. My husband is going to check it out. Not that we'll need A/C for this next long weekend camping trip, but it needs to be addressed. Someone else suggested a spacing problem under the unit on the roof so that has to be looked at also - looked at from above. I'm sure it's nothing really serious. We were really surprised to see it "raining" in our kitchen that day.

That's about it for us too. One week off and a bunch of weekends. Not enough.

87 and winterized. We don't have that "W" thing holding us back...just the Colorado winters.

We were all set to camp more times this summer than any other. Had the time, the weather was wonderful, then I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Had the operation, which went well, now I'm cancer free. But, lost the whole summer recuperating. We didget a trip in down south last spring so all was not lost! (And my step-son and I made a road trip from El Paso to N.Y. then down to N.C., that was very nice.)

Oh well, going to camp next week-end, regardless of the temps, and we always start the countdown to camping when we winterize the trailer!! Hope everyone has a good winter!
