No 12v lighting second bedroom

Hi all. Trip number 4 in the new to us 2010 cruiser 32bl. We got set up and noticed no power in the bunkhouse. There's one overhead light and two lights in the bunks. All dead. All fuses good.

As an assorted comment. This thing is huge. First time here in the new camper and I'm having a terrible time getting around the small spaces!

GFCI has nothing to do with the lighting, they are all 12 volt. My last 5er had several lights not working & found that they were wired in series & the wire nuts were loose on one of them so all past that wouldn't work.

I'm not going to track down until tomorrow but may not be too terrible. I was outside and looked under the bunk slide. The wires to bunk lights go in to area around power panel. Just have to follow it. There should be a split where it goes to overhead light. Problem should be between that junction and fuse box. That's what I hope anyways lol.

Had the same issue in our main slide-out. Turned out to be a failure in the circuit for the slide, on the converter. I switched the positive lead from the terminal marked "slide" on the converter to a "spare" terminal and moved the fuse, no more problems in the last 2 years.

Well I have power to the switch and the fixture. Ground seems ok. I dont know I'm trying not to turn camping trip into "tear everything apart day" lol.

If you have power to the fixture seems like a bulb issue. Switch out the bulb from a fixture that works.

I did that and then noticed something I did blew a fuse. Starting to think fixture is bad. Now I just have to see if I have a stash of fuses.

With mine I had 12v between + & -, but when I turned on any of the lights, it went to zero volts.

Sounds like lack of a good ground.

I don't think it was the ground, I never touched anything with the ground, just changed the positive to a different terminal and it has worked fine for 2 1/2 years.

Problem found.....

The wire going underneath slide out was pinched and severed. It's the wire for the personal bunk lights. I noticed the flex loom was pinched. There's pieces of plastic that keep up wire and they slid out of place. Thanks all.
