I have a Norcold N81X refrigerator. Last night we lost power, and now the refrigerator will only work on gas. Any ideas or tips on troubleshooting and repair?

Thanks.

Did you check the circuit breaker to make sure it's not tripped?

Did you check your GFCI outlets? If one has tripped that is on the same circuit as the fridge you may not be getting power to it.

The breakers and CFCIs are good. I found an on line manual that talks about a fuse on the power board, but it doesn't say where the board is located or how to get to it. Any ideas?

Make sure you check for power at the outlet where the fridge is plugged into. Sometimes THAT plug is a GFI. Plug something else into the outlet to verify it is working. The module is on the back of the fridge and accessed from the outside. You will have to remove the cover over the circuit board. There is probably a label somewhere in the vicinity showing the wiring schematic. The fuse is on the front of the board.

The power board is under the black cover on the back of the refrig as looked at from outside. There is a glass fuse maybe 2 on the board. But as said above, I would put a meter on the outlet to make sure it is working.

Refrigerator fixed. The AC connection to the power board was loose. Thanks to all who replied with possible remedies.
