Nvision TPMS

Anyone here using the Nvision tire pressure monitoring system?. I've been told I may have to replace my valve stems if they are the rubber variety. I don't have access to my 30SKP at the moment, and can't remember if the valve stems are rubber or metal.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I use the Hawkshead and have been real happy with it. One of the niceties is that the small display suction cups to the windshield out of the way. Used on two long trips without issue, easy to setup and use. Additional note, Hawshead is now offering a Tee stem which allows you to add air without removing the sensor.....a nice touch.

I also use the HawksHead unit and so far I am very happy with it. You do need metal valve stems if you are going to run a TPMS on the truck or trailer.

They should be rubber stems. Regardless if you go with a tpms you should change them to metal.

I have a 2010 30SK Patriot, the valve stems are metal and nitrogen filled, or were I should say.

I also have the Hawkshead and I use mine with rubber stems but they are the very heavy duty ones put on by Discount tire. They work great and someday I will change them to metal valves. (They couldnt change mine to metal when I had new rims put on because my area that the valve stems went into were recessed too far for them to put them on)

Thanks everyone. I guess I'll have to wait 'till the end of the month when I go get the trailer out of storage. I had the dealership where I store the trailer e-mail me a pic of the valve stems, they appear to be rubber but look quite sturdy. Apparently, as long as there is not too much vibration in the stems, the tpms sensors will work.
