So we hooked up the battery backwards............ (slingshot TT)

and everything went haywire, we got it hooked up right, but seems we blew the 40amps. We replaced them with 30amp, will the 30 work or should we go find 40?

Also the radio isnt working anymore, but the light next to fuse isnt on, like we blew it, is there another fuse maybe on the radio that we will have to change?

Thanks

CD

I have done this once before also, I had to replace I think 5 fuses all in my fuse box and everything worked fine after that.

Take RED nail polish and paint the ends of the " + " wires and terminals and also the " + " pos side of the battery and that will never happen again..and then red goes to red..

imo ...hope this helps..

For your radio,

Remove the outer trim of the radio, it is just snapped there, unscrew the 4 screws, pull the unit out and replace the blue fuse.

The inverter will work with 30 A fuses until you find 40 A.

Been there, done that....

Hope this helps,
