Outdoor kitchen sink water leak

Just got back from camping in Townsend TN. Sure is nice having full hook ups...no blue honey pot needed.

When I pulled the sliding kitchen sink out from the camper the cold water connection was loose at the faucet. Luckily it didnt leak until after I pulled it out, so it dripped on the ground.

Not sure how they loosened but they are snugged up now and I'll be keeping an eye on them. I think I might add a cut off on those lines, would hate for it to shake loose with the drawer closed.

Thanks for the info. I've never had that problem, but I'll make sure I keep a watch out for it.

Shut off might not be a bad idea or just not turn on the water until sink is out.

Outdoor kitchen sink water leak

I had the exact same thing....tightening the connections would only work for two or three trips then I was back to leaking all over again.

In the end, I had to zip tie the water lines down that were behind the sink so they would not move forward and back as I was opening and closing the sink drawer. The back and forth movement was creating just enough twisting to loosen the line nuts at the tap.

But the drawer goes in and out several times a day, let alone a whole trip.

Would telfon tape help tighten those or just break out the Gorilla Glue and be done.

Try Loctite 425. It's for plastic threads and allows removal.

Getting back from our first outing with the new camper my wife informed me that the storage area under the bunks was wet, with a little investigating I assured my wife it was from the bubble wand my daughter had stowed under her bed. Just got back from the second trip with the same results but no bubble wand this time, I found the metal crimp used to connect the sink faucet line to the pex hot water line was leaking. (Also a drip at the faucet too.) A quick trip to the hardware store and problem solved, I hope? Two Sharkbite shut-offs with new kitchen faucet supply lines. ( 3/8” x ˝”)

I had a leak under the faucet, this is something I need to do as well. Nice work.
