Outside coax connection clarification

Hi All,

New ST270BH, during PDI I asked if we can play dvd's outside, I was told yes, but it wasn't a confident yes.

At camp for first run, and trying to figure out how to play a dvd out there with 6 impatient people (and one inebriated #%^!^).

Am I correct in saying I can't play dvd's outside? If so, has anyone done a modification so you can play dvd's outside?

Correct. The feed from the stereo uses RCA jacks into the TV, not a cable connection. Personally I'd buy a cheap Bluray player and an HDMI cable to use outside.
