i'm buying land and wondering whats best for parking the rv on. concrete,sand,grass,rocks or maybe ??????

If it were me I would prefer concrete but a good bed of rock or gravel will work.

If you are going to be living in the RV, I would recommended cement, and big enough to sit on when you are outside under the awning. If you are just thinking of a place to park the RV when not in use, I guess it doesn't make much difference.

Concrete....worth the investment....actually code here where I live if you want to keep your rv home for the winter...

I noticed that several trucking yards / semi / semi trailer parking lots using crushed asphalt that is then packed with a roller . It seems to make a pretty hard surface that's low cost.

I like cement nice for washing and waxing the 5thwheel also using the stepladder on solid ground.

I have an asphalt drive way. I took a 3/8" pressure treated 4X8 sheet of plywood and made pads to park the trailer on. Cut the plywood in the lengths and width I needed. Cut enough pieces so I could double them up to give a total thickness of 3/4". Keeps the tires from "denting" in the asphalt where the tires sit and I think it is better for the tires.
