Hi I am new to the fourm. and i have a problem with my power, took a spike and now the refer and the microwave, and a couple of electrical fans do not work, not sure how to check the refer, or how to find or locate the power invertor, i have 110 power, a/c works. but keeps running down the battery, any thoughts?? thanks

First thing I would check is all the 110v breakers and 12v fuses in the breaker box. The convertor should be located fairly close the the breaker box, probably back behind it or maybe behind the back wall of your pass thru storage compartment. Without a surge protector a power spike can take out major appliances. Good luck.

thanks for the info, think i found the invertor, it is below the fuse and breaker panet, all fuses are good as are the breakers, just want to get it fixed so can pick up our class a, moving up from the TT,

As Hunter11 indicated - check bkrs and fuses. Some components may have an internal fuse (internal to the case). We had a motor home once and took a surge during a storm - the only thing impacted was the refrigerator - had to replace the control ckt board as a remember.

Hopefully you'll find how to repair your items. If you are handy with tools you can probably make the repairs yourself. Save you a big bill at the RV dealer.

Have never had a surge protector until now (Progressive Industries Model EMS-HW50C). Guess we have been lucky. Went with that model because it has a remote indicator and an on/off switch. I think I will need to turn it off when I run my generator.</span>

thanks for the info, was able to get the refer to work on gas, and it is getting cold, if i have to i can replase the invertor myself, but have prettymuch everything working now, just want it to work for a few more days, because we are trading to a class a on saturday.
