Radio turning on by itself?

This is a problem that has just started recently. The Jenson unit in our 2009 Cruiser will turn on by itself. I have never been in the unit when it has happened, but at least a dozen times since last fall, I have checked on the camper, and found the radio playing. I keep it plugged in to shore power over the winter to keep the battery charge up. Anyone have any ideas?

My friend's does that with weather alerts. Not sure if you can disable it. Google the manual for your model and you may find a way.

This happened to us once. Had us confused for awhile until we figured out the alarm had gotten set.

It's that switch in the house, you know the one you flip on and off and can never figure out what it operates... just kidding. This issue pops up from time to time, it is usually an alarm function.

Sometimes if you get a power interrupt, it will activate the radio. Not sure how pure your shore power is or if there's power fluctuation of the draw from others, but it's a possibility?

I checked my radio this morning, and sure enough the alarm got turned on some how. Thanks to all for a simple solution. I've never used the feature, and totally forgot that it was there.

Tommy, I thought spirits are for drinking.

I like spirits in a glass. What is interesting is I picked up a 2014 z-1 a month ago. The radio has never been on unexpectedly. But last night my wife turned it off, we have been using the radio in the driveway. We were closing the rv up and it turned back on. I think it's haunted. Maybe not the rv itself but my whole house and property.
