RecPro furniture

Anyone ever replace their sofa with a RecPro brand. Looking to replace the sofa bed with a sofa recliner. Camping World has a sofa recliner with center console for $1229 plus shipping and taxes. Went on eBay and found RecPro sofas with center console for around $819 free shipping. Seemed to have good reviews but was hoping someone on here had actually purchased one. Thanks

There are some reviews on the company's website. They are favorable.

Got our new couch recliner and put it in the 5er. Very comfortable and looks good.

Is the material on this couch the same, or is it different then what CR had on their couch's that was peeling? How do you like it so far?

Ours never peeled and our new sofa recliner is softer material than what came with the Crossroads 5er. My wife really liked that they send free fabric swatches that are approximately 8"X6". We had ours for our last camping trip and we really liked it.

Papa-T, How hard is it to push the foot rest back down? They have the parachute handle for putting it out/up, right?

Yes it has the parachute handle and it's not hard at all to push the foot rest down. My wife has no problem either.

We went with the set that doesn't have the center console. Our slide is about an inch to narrow for that one.
You're right Ted, they are comfortable.

Dumb question, how hard was it to get them out of the unit??

I was told all of the furniture was put in before the roof was put on because it wouldn't fit through the door. This was a sales man so he could of been lying to me.

Are these just recliners or are they still beds?

No, not a dumb question. It's a good one.
I was going to give ours to the neighbors daughter. Life is pretty tough for her.
We stood it on end and tried to wiggle it out the doorway every which way we could. It didn't fit.
By the time I was done fighting with it my temper was starting to rise.
I knew there was no saving it. So I stepped out and got the maul. In about 10 to 15 minutes it was out and laying on the floor in manageable pieces.
The new one went right thru the doorway and was setup in about the same time.

On the furniture in our unit the backs come off the chairs and the sofa. Makes it easy to take them out the door.

Ours was stapled and screwed together. Nothing came apart like campingcpl's did.
My theory is they set it in the camper before setting the slide in place.

The Rec Pro we got came in 5 pieces. The backs the seat sections and the middle section. So it was easy to put in and all snapped together and seems solid. It was 8" shorter than the one we took out so now I'm trying to figure a small table to fill the gap. Even though it's 8" smaller it seems bigger than the couch we had if that makes since.
