I have a question about refridgerator I am hoping someone can answer.

over the weekend in the record degree heat our brand new camper fridge was acting weird. My husband got in it in the middle of the night and noticed it felt warm to him. He went outside and there was a huge puddle where the drain hose runs out from fridge. He found reset button on outside and seemed like that after that it seemed better. We were wondering if something is wrong or was the heat a factor. Or maybe since we had been in and out of it alot getting cold drinks all night because it was just so hot.



Just wondering what other people opinions. We have a sunset trail reserve 32PB if that makes any diff

Your symptoms sound weird. I've had the fridge stop cooling during real hot weather and even had to put another fan behind the fridge to keep air cooling the fins. I have no water coming out of the drain tube but I do have a drip from the bottom of the fridge which gets the plywood wet. So, I put a cookie aluminum cooking pan under the fridge to catch the drips and hope they evaporate.

There would be some problem in your cooling system, or in the freezer, i would suggest you to call the freezer repairing mechanic.

Angelina, I hope you were referring to the post from Want2Bontheroad and not mine? I think mine is just condensation from humidity that is dripping. I have no ice maker and the freezer/fridge compartments are clear of moisture.

NH...check top of drain tube - may simply have came off.

Ours has seemed cold with the 90+ heat. A suggestion is to put your drinks in a cooler to minimize in/outs. We did it this week since we were out for the week...has help ALOT.

Sounds like the fins were covered with ice from opening the frig so often during the hot weather, the reset popped and the frig defrosted. Limit the amount of time the door is open, use a cooler for those drinks that go down so easily (beer for me) and...
