Repairs After Blowout

Returning from a recent trip we had a tire blow on the trailer. The resulting damage was the lower sheet metal in front and back of the tire and a separate piece of sheet metal on one side of the door. My repairman contacted Crossroads, who informed him that he had to order parts through an independent Crossroads dealer. He was directed to a dealer in Indiana. Its has been a month and the independent dealer has not been of any help. My repairman thinks he will have to reproduce the sheet metal as it seems as if it is unavailable.
I know others that have had blowouts and resulting sheet metal damage. What have others done for sheet metal replacement after a blowout?

Tony, try this place. Others had success in getting parts from them.
Parts Dept. - Tiara RV Sales

I believe they contacted them directly without going thru local repair shop.

Let me know if you have success.

Thanks for the contact, but unfortunately that is the dealer my repairman is dealing with now.

Danny, It doesn't help having the vin# a lot of people have had no luck with Taira rv including me. Tried to get a cabinet door gave the girl the color and measurements, she emailed me with something that was wrong color and way off on measurements I gave her, if I wanted it let her know.WHAT? I don't need wrong color or size. On the bottom of the page it stated vin# dose not guarantee anything.

We had the same problem a couple of years ago when the right rear tire on the driver's side blew out causing damage similar to what you have. The repair center I took the trailer to was having problems getting the needed parts from CrossRoads so they used a local metal fabricating shop to fabricate the parts. The cost was similar to what they were being quoted and much faster getting them. If your dealer can find a metal fabricating shop in your area I suggest that they check with them to see if they can make the parts needed for the repairs.
