Replacing interior main cabin LED lights

Greetings..

I have 2016 Crossroads Sunset Trail Reserve and have an issue with one of the interior LED lights. Is was working fine the other day and now its dead.. The other main cabin lights work fine, just this one light is out. Has anyone replaced one and if so what was the process and where did you get the long strand of led's?

Thanks much

Mike

I have replaced three of our four inch round surface mount LED's with double pancake surface mount LED's...Pry the lens out of the LED...You will need a very small standard screw driver to do so...Once the lens is out there are four screws holding the LED to the ceiling...Once you remove them the light should come away from the ceiling...You should have some slack in the wire to pull out of the hole in the ceiling so you can work on it...I just used Krimp Splices to connect the new pancake LED's...

I don't know what you mean by your question above...

my lights are oblong shaped, and have a single stand of LED's. Its about 4 inches long. My question was where can I get a replacement. Also strange that the light would go out, it only has at the most 10 hours on it.

Thanks much

Mike

Since it should be under warranty, call Customer Service at Crossroads and see if they'll send you a replacement light assembly.

Couldn't hurt to ask...

For Redwood parts, under warranty or not, we can go through Tiara Rv in Elkhart Indiana, sorry I don't have a number, they will ship parts to you.

I would check for a loose wire at the splice. I found a blue led light bar above our sofa and table out, after I exposed the wires and connections I found a bad splice. I used a butt splice to repair and it is now working. Hopefully yours will be this easy.
