Im working on my roof as we speak, it was pretty dirty. I took a break because itwas raining. I dont think it has ever been cleaned in the 6 yrs it has been on the road. The Solvit took about half of the dirt off, using a scrub brush,it wouldnt take it all off. Im thinking that doing it multiple times of the year may get it back to looking good again. It is pretty stained up from the dirt being up there for so long. I only have about 1/3 more of the roof to do and am pleased with how it is coming out. Wish it took all the dirt off but you cant expect it to all come off I guess. LOL Atleast not after 6 yrs of not ever being cleaned.

Talk about a testimonial Ordered Solvit shortly after you posted Lloyd.
Today was the first time I've been able to get up on the roof. Replaced the antenna then washed the roof. Like you said, two hours on hands and needs. Forgot to bring some extra Solvit with me so I'll have to work on the stubborn stains next time I'm up there. Did a great job. Looks like it will be delight to clean the awning/rv with it as well. Appreciate the hint

Washed the camper and the awning today and added Solvit to the bucket. Works great! Melts the scum and brushes away. The awning turned out better than hoped. Looks pretty good for it being 4.5 years old in the Florida humidity and mold.
Lloyd, you shouldinquire abouta commission check!

Wouldn't that be nice.
I used it on the awning also. Rig got put away last fall with out being able to roll the awning out and let it dry. There was mold spots and the solvit seemed to take them off.

I doubt you'll find it in WA. It's only sold retail in the WI area. You'll have to order it by phone. I bought a box of six tubs on the chance it was as good as Lloyd said and saved on the shipping costs. It was worth it.

Lloyd, you really should tell Solvit to at least give you a life time supply for free. Talked to my RV repair facility this a.m. and they are going to order some to try as well.
Tom, don't know where they sell it but they're located in Madison.

OK Now how much did you use for a gal of water. I was just trying to see how much you can get out of a 2 pound can of the stuff.
thanks

Directions say 2 tablespoons per gallon. I put in about 1/2 cup into about 4 gallons. My roof was really bad. I intend to cut back to 1/3 to 1/4 cup per 4 gallons next time around.

Mine just arrived today, so I don't know yet how well it works but hope to try it out before this weekend. The 2 lb can says it will make 52 gallons.
