I bought a new z-1 328sb in early March .i decided to clean the roof this weekend . As soon as I got on roof I saw a quarter size lump in roof membrane .
I pushesh on it and it feels like something hard and could poke thru over time . So I started looking and found about 20-30 spots any where from dime to quarter size . Is this going to be a problem in the future . I have owned several campers and never seen this before on any of them. always been smooth with no trash under them .
Keep an eye on your roof. The staples actually came through the membrane on ours. We are in the process of arranging for a new roof now.
Another thing I advise strongly is to keep on top of the caulking. Check it often, top to bottom, front to back, and add more where needed. Water intrusion is an RV's worst enemy.

I had a friend look at it today . He's a Progresive ins adjuster . He said it was normal . We spent 30 minutes going over it and showed me 4 spots that needed to be resealed on roof. We got down and he pulled off 2 running light covers and both was full of water . He said they are #1 reason fo rotted floors . Water fill up inside and runs down wires to floor area . Silicone all light covers on . I would have never thought of that . Just fyi
Thanks For the info. I've got a few spots on the roof to caulk this weekend, guess I'll knock out the running lights too.
Where in Texas? I'd like to ask your insurance friend a question about a problem I had with my roof.

I have a few bubbles on my roof but nothing hard under it is that OK?
